The LMSPV320 Visible Spectrophotometer is a compact and cost-effective analytical instrument designed for routine measurements in the visible spectrum (325–1000 nm). It operates on a single beam optical system with a 1200 lines/mm grating monochromator, ensuring good spectral resolution and low stray light.
This model features microprocessor-controlled operation with auto zero and auto 100% transmittance calibration, simplifying daily workflows and reducing operator error. The instrument displays absorbance, transmittance, concentration, and coefficient values directly on its LCD screen, allowing flexible analytical use.
Unlike higher-end models, the LMSPV320 uses manual wavelength setting, making it suitable for standard lab testing where full automation is not required. The system is equipped with a tungsten halogen lamp and silicon photodiode detector, providing consistent and reliable results in the visible range.
The instrument includes USB connectivity for PC integration (optional software) and a parallel port for direct printer output. Its compact footprint and robust design make it ideal for educational labs, QC environments, and routine chemical analysis.
