Abdos RIA Vials and Test Tubes are designed for use in Radioimmunoassay (RIA), a scientific method to measure antigens such as hormone levels without bioassay. These tubes are available in polypropylene (PP) and polystyrene (PS). PP tubes are clear, autoclavable, and can withstand centrifugation up to 3000×g RCF, making them suitable for use with most common acids, bases, and solvents at room temperature. PS tubes are transparent, non-autoclavable, and tolerate centrifugation up to 1400×g RCF. Amber variants offer protection for light-sensitive samples. Caps are available in HDPE, PP, and LDPE, compatible with corresponding tube sizes.
