Digital Viscometer with Small Sample Adaptor is designed for accurate viscosity measurement of Newtonian and non-Newtonian liquids using low sample volumes. The system combines a precision digital rotational viscometer with a compact small sample adaptor assembly, making it suitable for laboratories handling limited or valuable samples.
The instrument is available in two models, LMDV111 and LMDV222, offering different speed ranges and shear rate capabilities for various viscosity testing applications. The system features selectable stepless speed regulation, direct viscosity reading, and LCD-based display for stable and reliable measurements.
The small sample adaptor assembly consists of a coupling nut, extension link, spindle set, sample chamber, and adjustable base. It enables viscosity testing with sample volumes as low as 10–20 ml, significantly reducing sample consumption compared to conventional viscometers.
Temperature monitoring is integrated into the system, while optional refrigerated circulating bath compatibility allows controlled temperature viscosity testing for sensitive materials. The LMDV222 model additionally supports shear rate and shear force display for advanced rheological analysis.
With RS232C communication capability and multiple spindle configurations, the system is suitable for research laboratories, pharmaceutical analysis, polymers, chemicals, coatings, cosmetics, and specialty fluid testing applications.
